Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and strategic International Early Childhood Project Coordinator to serve as the key driver of our global expansion. You will be responsible for designing and implementing pilot and scale-up projects for Music Tree Pedagogy from the ground up in target regions such as Asia, Africa, and Latin America. You are not only an excellent project manager but also a champion of the Music Tree philosophy and a catalyst for its localization.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Management: Plan, launch, execute, monitor, evaluate, and close Music Tree Pedagogy projects in assigned regions, ensuring adherence to objectives, budget, and timelines.
- Curriculum Localization & Training System Development: Lead and contribute to the adaptation of core Music Tree curriculum and training materials for local cultures, languages, and educational contexts. Design and facilitate in-depth workshops for local teachers, principals, and trainers.
- Partnership Ecosystem Development: Identify, establish, and maintain strategic partnerships with government education departments, international NGOs, local educational institutions, community organizations, and academic partners to ensure project sustainability.
- Quality Assurance & Research Advocacy: Establish project monitoring systems, collect and analyze child development data and teacher feedback, and compile impact reports. Document localization case studies to generate research outputs for global sharing.
- Brand Representation & Resource Mobilization: Represent the institution at international conferences and forums to communicate the philosophy and outcomes of Music Tree Pedagogy. Assist in drafting project proposals to secure international grants and funding.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
- Education: Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, International Education, Arts Education, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in international education project management. Direct experience in launching early childhood projects from scratch in developing countries is highly preferred.
- Pedagogical Expertise: Deep understanding of cutting-edge early childhood education theories and a strong interest/practical experience in integrating music, drama, or arts into learning. Familiarity with Music Tree or similar pedagogies (e.g., Orff, Kodály) is a significant advantage.
- Cross-Cultural Competence: Exceptional cultural sensitivity and adaptability, with proven ability to work effectively in diverse, complex, and sometimes resource-limited settings. Direct experience living or working in multiple cultural contexts is required.
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English (verbal and written). Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic, or Southeast Asian languages) is a strong asset.
- Core Attributes: Excellent communication and coordination skills, resilience in problem-solving, strong self-motivation, and a deep commitment to global educational equity.
Preferred:
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Certification and substantial experience in Teacher Training (ToT).
- Basic data analysis and research skills, with the ability to produce high-quality project reports and research briefs.
