Music Tree Methodology (ASEAN) Research Center and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Discuss in Depth the Proposed Establishment of the Children's Music Research Centre
To further promote academic innovation, transnational research, and professional development in children's music education, Mr. Tommy Tian, Founder of Music Tree Methodology (ASEAN) Research Center, was invited to visit the renowned Malaysian institution of higher learning, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). A high-level discussion meeting was held at the Centre for Pedagogy, Research and Innovation (CPRI), Faculty of Human Development, UPSI.
The meeting was personally initiated and chaired by Professor Dr. Nordin Mamat, Director of CPRI. The discussions centered primarily on the proposal to establish the "Children's Music Research Centre" at the Faculty of Human Development, while exploring a strategic blueprint for future collaborations in academic activities, research projects, curriculum development, and innovation in children's music education.

The meeting took place at the Director's Office, CPRI, Faculty of Human Development. In a warm and highly productive academic atmosphere, Mr. Tommy shared in detail with the UPSI representatives the academic insights, core philosophy, and fruitful practical achievements of the "Music Tree Methodology," offering a highly constructive international perspective on how the methodology can empower future research and practical applications in children's music education.
The representatives from UPSI highly commended Music Tree’s professional expertise in pedagogical innovation and its bridging role in promoting educational exchanges within the ASEAN region. The university expressed that Mr. Tian’s valuable experience and forward-looking insights will lay a solid foundation for the top-level design of the proposed Children's Music Research Centre.
